Will you look at that! One whole year of not posting anything on my Blog!

Well, 1 year and 6 days... But who is REALLY counting, eh?

Actually, it was my goal of 2011 of not posting anything on my Blog. Just to see if I could do it.

I guess that it is possible. Ha ha ha...

Funny that if it was a goal like this, I can do it; but if it was a goal of making a five figure income doing something I love, I bet I'd fail!

Imagine that I set a goal that is like this one - not posting anything on the Internet - and it is to earn five figure income every month for the rest of my life, wouldn't that be peachy, eh?

I tested something out this morning as I performed some prayers and I told myself that this is a stupid life, over and over again, and that I was feeling stupid, breathing in the stupid air, listening to the stupid noise of the MRT, etc etc... Basically saying to myself that everything that I am experiencing is stupid, therefore, I am having a stupid life.

Then, I switched the word stupid with blessed, and something something strange started to happen.

I started feeling blessed.

I was beaming!

A smile developed on my face.

Everything looked clear as if a fog has been lifted.

Is this THE secret?

THen one thing leads to another and then I remembered the story of The Blessed Tree.

Ironically, the pictures that I posted on Facebook is a tree that if full of green leaves. The video on YouTube with the imminent Islamic Scholars and Thinkers shows a tree with just a few leaves.

I wonder if this means something?

This tree out in the middle of a God forsaken desert symbolizes a witness to the existence of The Seal of The Prophets.

That this tree once took over the task of the cloud that was providing shade to someone of great importance.

That this tree once feared is now reveared and God let it lived until this day to provide a witness to His Grace and Mercy.

May we, ourselves, be like this tree: Responsible, Resilient, Rare.

IF BEING a mother is like running a company, then the end of the year is probably a good time to release one’s annual report.

This year, Manic Mummy Corporation is proud to announce a profit of x units of happiness.

Productivity is up, with the full deployment of an extra employee named Lucien, aged 14 months, taking staff strength to a total of two. The company invested 100 per cent of its output in staff welfare and development. This investment is expected to mature in 18 years.

Among the senior management, there has been some reshuffling: Co-founder and chief executive Manic Mummy expanded her portfolio this year to include finance and public relations (that is, she took a parttime job outside the home); co-founder and president Supportive Spouse has been promoted to group chairman as a result of a popular vote by the workers’ union.

This internal shake-up resulted in some rumbling among the employees at first – some warnings, suspensions and other disciplinary action had to be meted out.

But, fortunately, nobody was dismissed or retrenched.

In any case, our employees – who require the bosses to serve them, and not the other way round – have tenure and cannot be fired for life.

Meanwhile, the star performer of the company, one Julian, aged 4 1 /2 years, has won himself a corporate scholarship to kindergarten next year.

He will be on study leave, but is expected to still supervise Lucien and helm departments such as Practical Jokes, Silly Gags andWisecracks.

In the year 2011, the corporation is confident of generating revenue in excess of y units of joy. Operating costs, however, are expected to go up exponentially, as employees have indicated a preference for more sophisticated equipment like Training Organised Yard Supplies (Toys).

To answer queries from interested shareholders, we are enforcing a hiring freeze, as two employees seem an optimum number.

Manic Mummy Corporation remains devoted to offering the best in cutting-edge, original motherhood research and experimental methods – ranging from how to entertain a kid who complains he is bored every two minutes, to how to ignore him.

Along the way, the chairman and CEO have learnt a few valuable lessons about human resource:
Be very patient with your employees. Ours are more accurately termed “juvenile interns”, as
they are highly unskilled; come with no contracts, manuals or guarantees; are prone to breaking down frequently; and respond only to repeated, specific instructions.

But some soft coaxing can go a long way with them.

The carrot and the stick must be used in tandem.

Here at Manic Mummy Corporation, our staff package and benefits are more generous than those of many rival companies, but we can also come down like a ton of bricks on employees who seriously offend.

Fine-tuning and balancing the use of incentives and corrective actionmust be a top priority.

Pleasing the public and other shareholders (for example, caregivers, relatives, friends and teachers) can be tricky. Often, they have conflicting advice and opinions on how to stop the employees from revolting.

Take feedback on board, but do not be afraid to steer an unpopular course.

Foster a stick-like-glue mentality in every member of your organization.

I feel like my life went from bottom to top and then back to bottom again.

I wonder if I'll ever be at the top of the "fountain" or will I always be stuck swimming at the same spot "trying" to get back at the 'jet-stream' so that I am back in the game and going up-and-up?!

I'll admit it. I'm a bit weird. I always have been. ;)

And maybe you are too, and that's what makes us
"special." Or at least that's what our moms always
told us.

I like doing "experiments" on myself. I think it's
a great way to grow as a person and to learn more
about yourself -- which can help in one's personal
or business life.

I once read how Leonardo Da Vinci slept only
about 3-4 hours a day by taking short 20-45 minute
naps throughout a 24 hour cycle.

Many years ago, I tried my own sleep experiment
after I found myself pulling a lot of "all nighters."

I decided to go every other night without sleep.

So I would stay awake for stretches of 30-35 hours
straight and then crash for 9-12 hours. I got a lot
of work done by doing this.

And I was able to do this for about 3 months straight -
sleeping only every other night.

There was only one problem... it put me in the hospital.

It had weakened my immune system and I ended up
with a bad case of vertigo. Horrible, horrible stuff.
I was basically DIZZY all day, everyday, for about
2 weeks until it finally went away.

So I, obviously, went back to a normal sleep schedule
and refused to pull "all nighters" anymore. I had bad
insomnia for a long time but eventually got over it.

If you're pulling all nighters and going without sleep,
I recommend you don't. It's just not worth the damage
it can do to your health.

But I've done many other "full immersion" types of
experiments on myself over the years, and most of
them didn't have bad health results - thankfully. :)

My point is... you can learn a lot about yourself if
you take yourself out of your normal comfort zone
and really 'challenge' yourself by trying little experiments
and personal challenges.

AND I'M DOING IT AGAIN.

Check this out...

I just finished selling (or giving away) all of my personal
possessions.

Not too long ago my life consisted of a massive 6-bedroom
house (with many rooms I never even went into!) and
5 cars. Yes, FIVE cars. I'm a car guy, what can I say. ;)

I had accomplished what many consider to be the
"American Dream." I had the huge house and all the
toys. The Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMWs, a Rolex
collection, an expensive wardrobe, amazing furniture,
a massive home theater, a 1,000 gallon saltwater
aquarium, the works.

And now I have NONE of it. And I'll explain why in
a moment...

Here are some "quick facts"...

For the first time in over 20 YEARS...

- I don't own a car.

- I don't own any furniture.

- I don't own a TV.

- I don't own any books.

- I don't own a huge closet full of clothes.

AND...

- I don't have a HOME. Not a house,
or apartment, or anything.

By now you're probably thinking...

"John, what the hell are you doing!?"

I decided to do all of this because I wanted
to do a new experiment on myself...

It's a challenge of MINIMALISM.

If you haven't yet heard about minimalism,
or read anything about it, you should. Not
only can it (I believe) improve the quality
of your life but it can also make your business
a lot more profitable.

Minimalism is essentially focusing only on
the 3-4 most important things in your life
(or business) and ELIMINATING THE REST.

There many opinions on minimalism and how
to apply it, and some approach it differently.
Do some Google searches for "minimalism"
and you'll find lots of great blogs about it.

It's really a growing 'revolution' of sorts.

I don't agree with everything he teaches, but a
decent book you can read is "The Power Of Less"
by Leo Babauta; and he's someone with 6 kids.
That will get you started.

Everyone will have their own take on minimalism.
But I'm willing to bet you can benefit from it.

WHAT I HAVE LEFT...

So you're probably wondering, if I got rid of
all that stuff, what the heck do I actually have
left? And how will I live?

Here's a full list of the only things I now own...

- A small 28L backpack (that holds everything below)

- 5 t-shirts (4 short sleeve, 1 long sleeve)
- 1 pair of jeans
- 1 light jacket
- 2 pairs of shorts
- 1 pair of running/trek shoes
- 5 pairs of boxer briefs
- Assorted toiletries
- Clothesline & large ziplock bag (for washing clothes)
- 1 MacBook Pro 15"
- 1 64GB Wifi iPad
- 1 iPhone 4
- 1 Livescribe Pen & small notebook
- My passport & credit cards

THAT'S IT. That's all the 'stuff' I own. ALL OF IT.

But it's also important to note...

I still have all of my money and investments. I didn't pull
a Christopher McCandless ("Into The Wild") and burn all
of my money. This experiment isn't about that. So I still
have all of my businessess (and their assets) as well as
a valuable .COM collection, etc. etc.

But as far as personal "things" go, I currently only have
what I listed above. I'll explain more as to the "WHY"
in a just a second...

WHERE ON EARTH WILL I LIVE?

The answer is... Everywhere.

I am just going to travel the world non-stop for awhile.
It may be for a year or for 10+ years. I don't know yet
and that's part of the adventure. I have structured
things so I can travel the world INDEFINITELY and plan
to do so for a very long time.

As many of my long-time subscribers know, I love to
travel. I've been to every continent in the world except
for Antarctica. (And hope to visit their soon.) But even
as much as I love to travel, I was only taking a few
trips a year. So now that's all going to change.

BUT TRAVEL ISN'T THE ONLY REASON I'M DOING THIS...

Here's what I've discovered about myself...

My level of happiness all comes down to my level of STRESS.

And my stress level is mostly due to having the feeling
of being OVERWHELMED. I had so many possessions
to manage and so many things going on in my life that it
was making me a bit crazy. (More than I already am.)

I found that my CREATIVITY has really suffered because
of this. It's like the brain only has so much available RAM
like a computer, and everything we own and do and manage
takes up that space. It doesn't leave a lot of room left for
creativity.

So essentially, I wanted my brain back.

I wanted to have what I call "Freedom Of Thought." I want to
have so few distractions and things taking up space in my
brain that I'm free to use as much of my brain as possible to
think of exciting new ideas and fully appreciate new
experiences.

* I did also realize that all of that "stuff" that I thought was
the "American Dream" was mostly based on EGO. But
that's a discussion for another day.

As many of my customers already know, late last year I
started a new company to develop Video Games. It's been
a dream of mine for many years and I finally decided to
pursue it. Well, this new business (along with other projects)
really demands maximum creativity from me. So I wanted
to try this new 'experiment' to give myself the best chance
at being able to come up with amazing new ideas.

AND IT'S ALREADY WORKING.

I'm currently on Day 3 of my journey. I moved out of
California about a week ago, then spent a few days visiting
my family in Florida, and then 3 days ago I 'officially' set
out on this "Minimalism Adventure" and flew up to
Toronto, Canada (where I am now) to visit my good friend,
Dean Jackson.

In the first 3 days, I've already come up with some
unbelievable new ideas for my businesses. And this
is only just the beginning.

I would like to challenge you to look at your business (and life)
and see how you can apply the Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule)
and eliminate the things that aren't essential to your goals --
or things that take away from the more important parts of
reaching your goals.

I recently deleted my personal Facebook account (that had
5,000 'friends') and it was one of the best things I ever did.

I was finding that Facebook was one big waste of my time.
I was logging in multiple times a day and it was robbing me
of time I should have been spending on more important
things.

Don't get me wrong, I think Facebook has decent marketing
uses, but I think for most entrepreneurs it's better used
for brands (with Business Page accounts) than as a personal
account. For me and all of the businesses I am involved
with, Facebook does not fall into the "20" part of the 80/20
rule. PPC, SEO, buying media (which includes Facebook Ads),
and other strategies out-produce it by a massive amount.
But that's a rant for another day. ;-)

After recently telling someone about what I am doing
they said...

"But, John, I gotta tell you... it really sounds like you're
just running from life."

To which I replied...

"No, you don't understand, I'm running TO life."

Okay it's time for me to go and pack up my stuff -- even,
though, it only takes me about 5 minutes. ;-)

I'm heading to Europe for a few months tomorrow as I continue
on my journey.

I remembered that I was watching this documentary movie "The Age of Stupid" on Channel News Asia one day and the thought occurred to me that if we have a choice, is there anything that we can do to help the Climate Change situation?

Already, Singapore has been facing flash floods after many decades of not getting one! Isn't it clear signs that we are heading into troubled waters.

At the same time, I was reading up on the latest gadget from Apple: iPad and iPhone 4 and I was musing about whether having them and using them could help the world heal?

I bet I could write a 1000 word essay on this and I'm not going to do it here. I think that it would be another post for another day.

Imagine a better and cleaner world if we were all to use the iPad and the iPhone 4 responsibly to direct policies to improve on the Climate Change or should I say the Climate Catastrophe that in impending.

In The Age of Stupid, the message was clearly stated that if we don't change our current lifestyle by 2015, it would be too late!

So, does John have a solution to this madness? Or is John doing this for another reason?

The 7-Day Mental Diet Challenge

Today is the 1st of July, 2010 and it is the first day of the second last quarter of the year.

Today is going to be the day where I will be more focused on achieving my short term goals(within 3 months) like:

1. Health - I'm committed to develop a 6 pack abs.
2. Financial - I'm committed to be able to save $1,000.00 per month.
3. Personal Development - I'm committed to be a Certified NLP Practitioner.
4. Business - I'm committed to build a successful education and people development business.
5. Family - I'm committed to spend more quality time with my beautiful wife and daughter by going back to Malaysia 2 times a month.

Also, part of successfully achieving point number 3, is to complete the 7-Day Mental Diet Challenge that is developed by Adam Khoo of AKLTG.

It is a 3 part process and one of them is to read aloud the Success Creed:

I have the power to choose. What I choose in life is what I get.
What I think is what I get. I move in the direction of my thoughts.

These are things that I am committed to do and I feel that more better opportunities are going to present itself from this time forth and that I only have to simply make an informed choice of what would be the best path to go to.

If I could not do the above, then the 7-Day Mental Challenge will reset and I will have to start all over again.

Was I King Leonidas Once?

Friends,

Just a "whym" and "fancie" that I write this.

As I went through a 'participative' session of Patterns Of Excellence(POE) as opposed to a 'coaching' version, I found out that my true powers were still very latent and that I simply need to go let it "flow" that there is enough energy left in me since the "dawn of time" that I can influence change in just about anything or anyone with awareness.

What a whole bunch of 'gunk' above eh? Ha ha hah....

During my own Time-Line Re-imprinting, I saw that I was King Leonidas.

I found out that if I were to go to this "place" I saw that I was on a gold colored road to a building that looked like the Greek's Acropolis, and that the surrounding was a golden stretch of wheat, ready to be harvested.

It was like a scene from the Gladiator movie where The Gladiator was walking home to his wife and son.

Mine was similar, but my building was a huge one with greek pillars supporting it's heavy roof; just like the Greek Acropolis.

When I walked up to it's heavy oak doors, it automatically opened and I saw inside my 300 Spartans all in gear but with their helmets cradled by their sides and all eyes looking at me intently.

I was so touched by this vision that my current body could not take this and it convulsed with tears and soft weepings.

In my time-line, I felt brave and proud of my 300 and my Captain; Artemis, calls out to me:

"Welcome home, oh, our King!"

More tears and convulsions racked my mortal body.

I walk towards them and I saw them smiling and nodding their heads with approval as I came closer, and as they part to let me walk through, I was shown my throne made of gold and comfort. The seat, crimson red of unknown origin.

I walked up to this imminent chair and turned to look at my 300. My brave 300. My lions!

No need for words as our minds simply linked somehow and we all nod with approval.

Smiling our appreciation of where we are.... Finally.

Then I decided to turn towards my Queen's chamber and my 300 went to their own women.

My Queen and my child. My "Omega" and my R.

Enough said. Here is where I stop... for now.

Reflecting upon this experience, I felt that my "Symbol" has changed into a Warrior.

My W. has 7 things to do his work:

A shield,
A spear,
A sword,
A helmet,
A red cape,
A red loin-cloth,
A pair of shoes.

All these are to annihilate dis-empowerment.

And to annihilate dis-empowerment from a person, he/she must wear the 7 things.

More on the 7 tools in a later blog as more important things have to be done now.

Imagine that you had to get up at 5:30am everyday and you had to reach work by 7:30am and work ends at 1:00am or 2:00am, everyday.

Would you still continue doing the job?

Imagine that you have only 5 - 10 minutes lunch or dinner and food and water is prepared in plastic lunch-boxes plus boxed soft-drinks.

Would you still continue doing the job?

Imagine that you have to stay back after the participants of the event would go home till 1:00am or 2:00am so that you and the other coachs can discuss in what manner of way can we help them be aware of their de- limitating patterns and how to approach them most effectively so that they will find it within themselves to change.

Imagine that when you did this job, you would have touched the lives of many people in attendance where they will have learnt from you skills that will benefit them in society; for example Speed Reading Skills or Whole Brain note taking strategies or Power of State.

Would you still continue doing this job?

Imagnine that there would be some participants who, no matter what you did will always return back to their old patterns.

Would you still continue doing the job?

Imagine that you will get very tired, frustrated, hungry, sleepy etc etc in this environment and that may make you want to quit.

Would you still continue doing the job?

Imagine that many participants of such an event would come up to you and thank you for being their Coach of Excellence and that their journey has brought them many learnings and realizations and that what I did, makes a difference in other people's life.

How would you still not do this job?

Today is 8th June 2010 and I have just survived a week of the above mentioned (ie) 2-3 hours of sleep every day since 27th May 2010 until 4th June 2010; which ended at 1:00am.

I had just completed a successful I Am Gifted (IAG) - Junior (Age 7 - 12) Camp at Adam Khoo Learning Technologies(AKLTG) Pte Ltd, and I am feeling so fulfilled and empowered. That at the instant I allow myself to go back to any one of the times that I was there, I would tear.

AKLTG is like a second home to me and I consider it as the "safest place on the planet".

It is SANCTUARY to me.

I wish that every man, woman and children would get a chance to enter it's doors and step out an improved person.

My "teacher" says that that 'dream' was just my representation of what was the real: that is I was The S.A.W. and my 300 was the companions.

That gave me goosebumps!

So, back to the real, I am going to attaract opportunities where I can masterfully serve my abilities to mankind so that they see the path and walk on it boldly and towards the truth.

I must do this and I will begin it with me being at peace with the within and so will the without also be at peace.

Question: Who is with me to build a million dollars a year business by end of this year?

I just saw a very inspiring video on youtube about one of MJ's commercial.

Here it is:

And one of his favorite quotes:

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan"

So, the lesson here is that in order for one to succeed, one sometimes MUST encounter failures.

And that one must re-frame failures as feedback or learning experience(s).

Here's Steve Jobs' "Thoughts on Flash"

After having read Steve Jobs open letter to the public concerning FLASH, i have a better understanding about the subject and my greatest respect for Apple and Steve Jobs and the iPad and my humblest apology for my negative ramarks about the iPad.

Here is the letter:

Apple has a long relationship with Adobe. In fact, we met Adobe’s founders when they were in their proverbial garage. Apple was their first big customer, adopting their Postscript language for our new Laserwriter printer. Apple invested in Adobe and owned around 20% of the company for many years. The two companies worked closely together to pioneer desktop publishing and there were many good times. Since that golden era, the companies have grown apart. Apple went through its near death experience, and Adobe was drawn to the corporate market with their Acrobat products. Today the two companies still work together to serve their joint creative customers – Mac users buy around half of Adobe’s Creative Suite products – but beyond that there are few joint interests.

I wanted to jot down some of our thoughts on Adobe’s Flash products so that customers and critics may better understand why we do not allow Flash on iPhones, iPods and iPads. Adobe has characterized our decision as being primarily business driven – they say we want to protect our App Store – but in reality it is based on technology issues. Adobe claims that we are a closed system, and that Flash is open, but in fact the opposite is true. Let me explain.

First, there’s “Open”.

Adobe’s Flash products are 100% proprietary. They are only available from Adobe, and Adobe has sole authority as to their future enhancement, pricing, etc. While Adobe’s Flash products are widely available, this does not mean they are open, since they are controlled entirely by Adobe and available only from Adobe. By almost any definition, Flash is a closed system.

Apple has many proprietary products too. Though the operating system for the iPhone, iPod and iPad is proprietary, we strongly believe that all standards pertaining to the web should be open. Rather than use Flash, Apple has adopted HTML5, CSS and JavaScript – all open standards. Apple’s mobile devices all ship with high performance, low power implementations of these open standards. HTML5, the new web standard that has been adopted by Apple, Google and many others, lets web developers create advanced graphics, typography, animations and transitions without relying on third party browser plug-ins (like Flash). HTML5 is completely open and controlled by a standards committee, of which Apple is a member.

Apple even creates open standards for the web. For example, Apple began with a small open source project and created WebKit, a complete open-source HTML5 rendering engine that is the heart of the Safari web browser used in all our products. WebKit has been widely adopted. Google uses it for Android’s browser, Palm uses it, Nokia uses it, and RIM (Blackberry) has announced they will use it too. Almost every smartphone web browser other than Microsoft’s uses WebKit. By making its WebKit technology open, Apple has set the standard for mobile web browsers.

Second, there’s the “full web”.

Adobe has repeatedly said that Apple mobile devices cannot access “the full web” because 75% of video on the web is in Flash. What they don’t say is that almost all this video is also available in a more modern format, H.264, and viewable on iPhones, iPods and iPads. YouTube, with an estimated 40% of the web’s video, shines in an app bundled on all Apple mobile devices, with the iPad offering perhaps the best YouTube discovery and viewing experience ever. Add to this video from Vimeo, Netflix, Facebook, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, ESPN, NPR, Time, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, People, National Geographic, and many, many others. iPhone, iPod and iPad users aren’t missing much video.

Another Adobe claim is that Apple devices cannot play Flash games. This is true. Fortunately, there are over 50,000 games and entertainment titles on the App Store, and many of them are free. There are more games and entertainment titles available for iPhone, iPod and iPad than for any other platform in the world.

Third, there’s reliability, security and performance.

Symantec recently highlighted Flash for having one of the worst security records in 2009. We also know first hand that Flash is the number one reason Macs crash. We have been working with Adobe to fix these problems, but they have persisted for several years now. We don’t want to reduce the reliability and security of our iPhones, iPods and iPads by adding Flash.

In addition, Flash has not performed well on mobile devices. We have routinely asked Adobe to show us Flash performing well on a mobile device, any mobile device, for a few years now. We have never seen it. Adobe publicly said that Flash would ship on a smartphone in early 2009, then the second half of 2009, then the first half of 2010, and now they say the second half of 2010. We think it will eventually ship, but we’re glad we didn’t hold our breath. Who knows how it will perform?

Fourth, there’s battery life.

To achieve long battery life when playing video, mobile devices must decode the video in hardware; decoding it in software uses too much power. Many of the chips used in modern mobile devices contain a decoder called H.264 – an industry standard that is used in every Blu-ray DVD player and has been adopted by Apple, Google (YouTube), Vimeo, Netflix and many other companies.

Although Flash has recently added support for H.264, the video on almost all Flash websites currently requires an older generation decoder that is not implemented in mobile chips and must be run in software. The difference is striking: on an iPhone, for example, H.264 videos play for up to 10 hours, while videos decoded in software play for less than 5 hours before the battery is fully drained.

When websites re-encode their videos using H.264, they can offer them without using Flash at all. They play perfectly in browsers like Apple’s Safari and Google’s Chrome without any plugins whatsoever, and look great on iPhones, iPods and iPads.

Fifth, there’s Touch.

Flash was designed for PCs using mice, not for touch screens using fingers. For example, many Flash websites rely on “rollovers”, which pop up menus or other elements when the mouse arrow hovers over a specific spot. Apple’s revolutionary multi-touch interface doesn’t use a mouse, and there is no concept of a rollover. Most Flash websites will need to be rewritten to support touch-based devices. If developers need to rewrite their Flash websites, why not use modern technologies like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript?
Even if iPhones, iPods and iPads ran Flash, it would not solve the problem that most Flash websites need to be rewritten to support touch-based devices.

Sixth, the most important reason.

Besides the fact that Flash is closed and proprietary, has major technical drawbacks, and doesn’t support touch based devices, there is an even more important reason we do not allow Flash on iPhones, iPods and iPads. We have discussed the downsides of using Flash to play video and interactive content from websites, but Adobe also wants developers to adopt Flash to create apps that run on our mobile devices.

We know from painful experience that letting a third party layer of software come between the platform and the developer ultimately results in sub-standard apps and hinders the enhancement and progress of the platform. If developers grow dependent on third party development libraries and tools, they can only take advantage of platform enhancements if and when the third party chooses to adopt the new features. We cannot be at the mercy of a third party deciding if and when they will make our enhancements available to our developers.

This becomes even worse if the third party is supplying a cross platform development tool. The third party may not adopt enhancements from one platform unless they are available on all of their supported platforms. Hence developers only have access to the lowest common denominator set of features. Again, we cannot accept an outcome where developers are blocked from using our innovations and enhancements because they are not available on our competitor’s platforms.
Flash is a cross platform development tool. It is not Adobe’s goal to help developers write the best iPhone, iPod and iPad apps. It is their goal to help developers write cross platform apps. And Adobe has been painfully slow to adopt enhancements to Apple’s platforms. For example, although Mac OS X has been shipping for almost 10 years now, Adobe just adopted it fully (Cocoa) two weeks ago when they shipped CS5. Adobe was the last major third party developer to fully adopt Mac OS X.

Our motivation is simple – we want to provide the most advanced and innovative platform to our developers, and we want them to stand directly on the shoulders of this platform and create the best apps the world has ever seen. We want to continually enhance the platform so developers can create even more amazing, powerful, fun and useful applications. Everyone wins – we sell more devices because we have the best apps, developers reach a wider and wider audience and customer base, and users are continually delighted by the best and broadest selection of apps on any platform.

Conclusions.

Flash was created during the PC era – for PCs and mice. Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs. But the mobile era is about low power devices, touch interfaces and open web standards – all areas where Flash falls short.

The avalanche of media outlets offering their content for Apple’s mobile devices demonstrates that Flash is no longer necessary to watch video or consume any kind of web content. And the 200,000 apps on Apple’s App Store proves that Flash isn’t necessary for tens of thousands of developers to create graphically rich applications, including games.

New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind.

The other day, I went to visit my cousin who has been hard at work with his Plan B income stream after he saw my Pablo and Bruno video:

And he shared with me his experience following a system of a very well known internet marketing guru whose name I shall not reveal for ethical purposes but I'll call him EC.

He said that he was so keen on EC's system of making him passive income that now, after a couple of months, he has given up because EC's system is so complicated.

I empathized my cousin's position because I have been there and done that and regrettable am still being here and doing it. That means to say that I've been following so many internet marketing gurus and am still stuck!

It is like how my cousin puts it, it is like all of them are scams.

And that is killing the Internet Marketing industry. It is so very sad.

iPad Sucks! Part Deux!

I just found out that you can solve the 2 current biggest issues about the iPad:

No in-built camera and
No Acrobat Flash support in its Internet Browser application.

So, okay... the above solutions are not the most perfect but at least we should give credit to the guys at c|net for their courage to give it their best.

In my humble opinion, i think that the iPad still needs an in-built camera in front and at the back and the Safari Mobile should support Adobe Flash.

My Apple iPad Unboxing!

Ha ha ha....

Got you there didn't I?

Nope, I didn't get the iPad and film the unboxing and the narration etc. but I saw this really cool "... voyeuristic and vicarious ..." version on YouTube that I felt compelled to share it with you.

BTW, this video could be inappropriate for youngsters or youngsters at heart because of its "... voyeuristic and vicarious ..." nature. It means that there will be the use of the word "porn" and "pornographic" etc.

So, if you are uncomfortable with "... voyeuristic and vicarious ..." theme's please sip the video.

For those who are adult enough to process such tiltilations please proceed.

It is all in good clean fun anyway.

You see, this version pointed out something really significant at 3:45 mins of the footage where unlike most computers in the market, the Apple iPad needs to be synced with your iTunes account!

If you don't have an iTunes account and/or have a computer (PC or Apple) to sync the iPad with, you won't be able to use it.

BUMMER!!!

So, to add to my previous post about what I think about the iPad: iPAD SUCKS?!

Where is the camera for video conferencing or SKYPE-ing?
Where is the SD card slot?
Where is the USB port?
Why is there no multitasking?
Why iPad's internet browser(SAFARI mobile) doesn't support Flash?
Why I can't use the iPad straight out of the box but that I need to sync it with iTunes via a PC or Apple computer?

I bet that Apple would have a current solution/response for points 2, 3, 5, and 6.

There is an adapter that you can buy to convert the iPad Dock connector to SD, USB and even VGA for projectors or flat screen TVs.

That's because Apple supports a new industry standard that will beat Flash called HTML 5.

That's because there could have been a new software/OS or vulnerability patch that was not included before the iPad was boxed.

Question #1 & #4 (Why no camera and no multi-tasking?):

Because of the low pricing policy of Apple to let many people afford the iPad, the camera and multi-tasking capabilities were stripped away and multi-tasking processes always drains more battery that would shortened the 10 hour long battery life.

If the price to performance ratio of camera and multi-tasking procesor were to improve, future iPads would definitely come with built-in cameras and multi-tasking processors and more longer lasting batteries.

The Pipeline VS Bucket System.

I found a very elegant video on YouTube about how we should build ourselves another source of income rather than to depend solely on the main source that is usually converting our time + effort = income. I believe that it is possible to create autonomous systems = our initial time + effort taken to build that system.

Take a look:

Now, the question is what can we do to be like Pablo who took his smarts and creativity to build his pipeline system.

If I were to go through some points, would you agree that our own Pipeline system would:

Not take too much time to build,
Not be too expensive to build,
Not too difficult to do.

I know of a businessman who gave me a formula that he follows closely for any new projects to improve on his cashflow:

How much to spend?
What is the work?
What is the returns? (Risks?)

One method that I've seen so far is using the internet to earn an income. There is this term that is used called Internet Marketing.

iPAD Sucks?!

I've just read a review by Engadget on the Apple's new toy: iPAD.

Here is my gripe about it:

Where is the camera for video conferencing or SKYPE-ing?
Where is the SD card slot?
Where is the USB port?

Then Engadget reported that the iPAD's Safari software doesn't support websites with Flash support.

Here is the excerpt:

"It is without question one of the best browsing experiences we've encountered. But is it the best? Well, not really.

Why, you ask? Well that answer is simple and extremely complicated at the same time. Currently, there is a web standard called Flash, developed by a company named Adobe, which allows for the easy insertion of rich media into webpages. That's everything from streaming video and audio files, online gaming, to entire websites made using its broad and deep development tools. The penetration percentage for Flash on PCs around the world is something like 98 -- that's almost everyone -- and many, many sites employ the standard on their pages. When we say many, we mean most if not all of the pages you typically visit use Flash to display some of their content. The iPad browser doesn't support Flash, and won't support Flash, perhaps ever. Apple has not only turned away from what is the industry standard for rich media in webpages, but it instead is pushing a newer standard called HTML5. Apple has been very successful thus far in moving its agenda forward and bringing websites into the fold of HTML5, but we're talking maybe, say, one percent of websites on the internet. Probably way less.

So what does this mean for an end user? That means there will be certain elements of these sites (in the case of HBO, the entire site itself) that simply won't work. Now, we're geeks. We get it. We know what's going on when a site shows the broken plugin icon, or says we need Flash. But to the wide world of "everyone" that Apple wants to sell this product to, this will result in a confusing and frustrating experience... a broken experience. That may be fine to Apple, but it isn't fine to us, and shouldn't be fine to the rest of the world. As an aside, we've been surprised other iPad reviews have not been more forthcoming in pointing this problem out -- this is not a small thing; it's is a major deficit in the iPad's browser. Now keep in mind we're not saying we love Flash and want to marry it -- in fact, we'd love to see a less CPU intensive format take its place -- but HTML5 isn't that format, at least not yet. It's important to understand that a lot of users will see the lack of Flash as a drawback, even if Apple doesn't like the standard, and even if Safari on the iPad is a brilliant experience (which it frankly is)."

One thing that makes me give a lot of respect to Engadget is that they point out that they've "been surprised other iPad reviews have not been more forthcoming in pointing this problem out -- this is not a small thing; it's is a major deficit in the iPad's browser. "

Kudos to Engadget.

So far, there are no other internet browser like the Firefox and IE that'll work on the iPAD because it is using the iPHONE OS.

This release of the iPAD is like the first release of the iPhone where later, there were people complaining about it's many problems. But like how Apple always listens to their customers, they improved the iPhone with the iPhone 3GS. A definite iPhone beater!

I think like what most smart techies out there would do is that I'd probably wait for the version 2 of the iPad to come out before I spend good money on it (unless I have a life or death need for it).

Folks!

I believe that there are a few things that a successful businessman has that makes him successful and one of it is DISCIPLINE.

The other one is FOCUS.

I have this new philosophy of reaching my life's successes by behaving like a Millionaire Warrior. More on this in a later post.

Now's posting is about DISCIPLINE + FOCUS = GOAL.

My goal is to earn USD1,000.00 by end of April 2010 and I am going to achieve it mostly by this on-line program called Infinity Downline.

I believe it is my calling to share this system because I have seen a lot of people (especially in Malaysia) who is earning 4-5 figure income per month.

"If they can do it, why can't I? Or why can't you?"

I believe that it is the dream of many to be able to earn an income of their dreams even without him/her "working" at it after it has gained momentum.

I believe that it is the dream of many to be able to be free to do whatever that they want as long as it is:

1. Legal
2. Ethical
3. Morally right.

I believe that it is the Millionaire Warrior's duty to live a life of Masterful Servanthood.

Before I explain what this program is, let me share the important aspect of BELIEF.

If one's BELIEFS is at 100% that whatever one is doing is right, then the rest of it is simpler.

For example, there are many who thinks that Multi-Level Marketing(MLM)/Network Marketing(NM) is not a right way of doing business.

This is where I want to prove that it is not wrong to do MLM/NM, just as long as one is clear of one's intention to do it and that the program is one that is not only just to make a profit but to help the "little guy" make it.

Let me introduce to you Billy Riggs whose lecture I've heard many times about Network Marketing that everyone who is not at 100% believing that it is the best way to market a service and/or product should really listen to him.

I'll see how I can post his lecture legally and share what I learn about Network Marketing.

I want my "-" to mean something and what the late Jim Rohn (once) said:

"To succeed, one must help enough other people succeed first!"

So my mission in life or my "-" (dash) would be to

"Help as many people to achieve success first; so that I may achieve it too. "

I want my life's goal to be:

"I am dedicated to transforming the quality of people's lives!"

And so, how do I do this?

Just a moment ago, I passed some documents to my next door neighbor which, I felt, contains information that would be useful for his business.

He is an amazing fellow because even with his limited time doing the business, because he has shift work, he still manages to "close" a good number of people. His group is growing very well indeed. This guy is awesome!

On a final note, I wish that I can really and truly update this blog at least twice a week.

I hope that I can put very useful information here so that other people can make use of it and thus lead to their success.

I hope that my wish will come true!

Day 6: Laziness.

I remembered that I wrote something in Day1 blog that I was committed to my success and that I will be going through T. Harv Ecker's 90 Day Wealth Conditioning Program.

To date, I still have not done so because like what someone said to me: "Life gets in the way of success."

I'm feeling really terrible today because I feel like a failure. I just had a bad time at the supermarket with the wife and she said and did things that made me feel really dumb!

I hate this feeling like I am not worth anything. I feel really dejected that I do not have a stable income and that I am living day to day on borrowed time and money.

Enough!

I am going through T. Harv Ecker's 90 Day Wealth Conditioning Program and I am going to play catchup. Like how I am behind in my homework, I am going to do 6 days stuff tonight.

And, I am going to focus really really hard about what I want to do to achieve a 4 figure income this month.

I know that I am going to have to earn a 4 figure salary every month and I know that that is what I have to do or else life SUCKS!

Hahaha.....!!!

I just got on SKYPE with a friend of mine who really did a great job of helping me out with my insides.

Day 1: Samsung OMNIA.

Folks,

I have just acquired a new handphone and it's a SAMSUNG OMNIA!

What a blessing it is as i always had a wish to get myself a handphone like the OMNIA.

I was actually planning to save up to get an Apple iPhone 3GS but suddenly, here in my hand is an equivalent!

This is all thanks to my wife who managed to get it at a special price!

Even though it is a second hand version, it is working perfectly!

The OS is a Microsoft Windows Mobile ver. 6.1 and i'm familiar with it because i have a Personal Digital Assistant(PDA) that runs on an earlier version so using the OMNIA is a relative breeze.

This is so ironic because i sort of manifested my intention to get myself something like the OMNIA after APPLE improved the iPhone's OS (with cut and paste) and then later with the launch of the iPhone 3GS.

I think the manifestation process became more stronger when i saw a good friend of mine using the new iPhone at a seminar we both attended recently.

I thought to myself that if he can get one, there should be No reason why i can't either!

Also, i believe that the seminar also helped unlock this special ability that whatever we want, we simply have to 'attract' it to us. And when the opportunity arrives, one must take action immediately!

The seminar that i attended lately was T. Harv Ecker - MMI(Millionaire Mindset Intensive).

And it is really a mind blowing experience that i believe will stay with me for a very long time!

I'm writing this blog entry using the OMNIA because that was also a wish of mine that i can type my blogs using a handphone.

Now that i can do this, I am grateful for this opportunity.

I believe that whatever success lessons that i've been taught and that i will commit to applying it daily for the rest of my life will make me achieve success.

Just like what T. Harv Ecker said,

"You aint seen nothing yet!"

Incidently, part of this blog was written using the Samsung OMNIA and from this point on, it is from my ACER Aspire One D250 Netbook.

On a serious note, I just realize that I went through November without writing a single blog post!

This is bad as I was supposed to journal what I am doing that is making me reach closer to earning a consistent income from the internet doing Internet Marketing.

So far, I'm still earning inconsistent income and one that I am committed to stop doing by the end of December 2009 and focus that I keep earning that amount even without me doing anything.

In the month of November 2009, I attended several seminars and/or workshops and I realize that I do have great potential in doing whatever that I want to do and earn a huge income from it.

I realize that the key to success is never giving up and keep on at it again and again and learning more and more and change strategy until I get the results that I want.

T. Harv Ecker said it very clearly that if you want to know if you are doing something right, just look at the results.

I loved his seminar that I attended in November and one of his most famous sayings is:

"YOU AIN'T ANY GOOD TO ANYONE BEING BROKE!"

I respect that man and how he is living his dharma of changing people's mindset about money.

And folks, I believe that I have this problem of not achieving my goals because of my Financial Mindset.

My Financial Blueprint is messed up and I need to get it changed before I get to achieve the success that I am aiming for.

So, from today onwards, I am committed to learn as much as I can about what rich people do that can make me rich!

I have been given the materials and teachings of T. Harv Ecker and I am committed to go through his 90 days Millionaire Mindset workbook and committed to making the next 90 days the best 90 days of my life.

I am committed to grow in the next 90 days starting from today and that I believe with all the fiber of my being that the next few days will be the defining moments of my life where I will emerged changed and becoming a winner!

Today will be day one and I am committed to this path of success.

Day 25: Free - The Past And Future of a Radical Price.

I've just read..... or should I say, HEARD, one of the 21st century most important books and I am sure will remain in the top 100 NY Times Bestseller List for many many months.

This book talks about the radical shift of how companies are doing business now, and how the internet is playing a huge role in the success or failure of corporations.

It is definitely a successor to The Long Tail which interestingly is written by the same author: Chris Anderson.

It discusses the idea of $0.00(free) and how past corporations and future trends may use this as a way of starting up a new company or saving an old company from failure!

I've very excited about this book because it gives me a sudden feeling of purpose that the idea of getting all of our most important things in life for free is becoming a reality.

This idea of absolute $0.00 for all of our life's needs came to me when I was watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, many years ago, where one of the episode reveals to us that the economy of the world does not depend on money but that everything is free for all.

Mankind does not pursue money anymore to achieve success, but pursue education in all manner of fields and that the most educated person is the most successful one.

It is an impossible paradigm when I heard it for the first time, but none-the-less, I held on to it like a dream that one day, it will be fulfilled and that all things that has a price today will be priced $0.00 in the near future!

Can this paradigm shift occur now?

I believe it can and I hope that I will be one of the many who will instill this possibility by teaching people how this can be done.

Firstly, it has something to do with your mind!

So.... I am supposed to be on Day 97 but today, I am going to change the way that I do my Internet Marketing(IM) biz.

I'm going to go about it in increments of 30 days as I was inspired by Ed Dale's 30DC(Thirty Day Challange).

So.... today should be Day 1 but for the sake of simplicity, I'm calling todays blog, Day 5.

Actually, I was going to put this blog up on October 1, 2009, but because of the Eid festivities, I got dalayed until today.

So.... what I am going to blog about is my 30 Days adventure to making my 1st dollar on "free" programs.

And when I say "free" programs, I mean doing something or anything on the internet that does not cost you a single cent but allows you to earn a comfortable income like say 4 figures every month.

Day 62: 30DC.

Folks,

The 30 Day Challenge is over.

The most important question is:

What have I gotten out of it?

Hmmmmm……

I am still doing what I’ve always been doing and that is I am still jumping from one opportunity to another to another etc etc.

It is like I am on my yacht, and I keep on changing my heading from one “paradise” direction to another “paradise” direction and I am really feeling stretched.

I remembered that I went and did 30DC because I felt that it is the best Internet Marketing training that is very real, without hype and B.S. for nothing.

The contents are really like a $1,997.00 training!

Now that it is over and I am looking at my 30DC journal, what have I done?

Honestly?

I only managed to digest up to Day 4 and I was about to do Day 5 on the 22^nd Aug which should have been
Day 21 DC!

So, what went wrong?

I can give hundreds of excuses like my baby daughter was sick, and my wife kept asking me to do other things and like she is not respecting my time needed to do my IM stuff, and I had to look for a car because the one that I am having has to be given back to its owner, and etc etc etc.

Excuses, excuses, excuses…..

I imagine myself if I am Tony Robbins in his early stage of development and whether he faced the same life-hurdles as I have?

Perhaps….. I am not sure because I do not know him very well… although I wished that I have…..

Tony talked in his latest video with John Reese and Frank Kern about him burning his bridges and that he gave himself no opportunity to turn back to where he was before.

I wonder if I should do the same?.

The pertinent question is: What kind of bridge(s) should I burn?

His latest video interview is really a wake up call to people like myself who is struggling with his IM business.

Really….. I feel like September 2009 is just around the corner and I really want to take his advice: Get with a program and stick with it until you get the results that you want!

His key was CERTAINTY and I felt like there was a calling when I came across this website that explains the Science of Getting Rich and that people become rich because they do things in a CERTAIN WAY to become rich.

And that CERTAIN WAY has something to do with having an Attitude of Gratitude!

I have started with this attitude even though every morning I feel like I have to drag that attitude out of my system, but after the “warm up”, I feel it gets easier.

One of the ways is that when I start-up my UMPC(Ultra Mobile Personal Computer), I will always click on this icon to read the “Optimist Creed”

Okay!

So all of this is really nice.

But, what is it that I am going to do in September 2009 that will take me to the place that I really want to be?

That is on the road to financial security.

That I earn an income that is comfortable that me & my wife don’t have to feel fearful about how we spend because we have enough and that we feel secure.

I think that for now, the target RM1,500.00 per month is a realistic figure and that is equivalent to USD425.00.

So, that is my target and what I am going to do within 24 to 48 hours is to find a program that I may already have that I don’t have to spend any money on that will allow me to earn USD425.00 by the end of September 2009 and every month after that!

That’s my target and that is what I am going to achieve from today henceforth!

Day 60: CERTAINTY!

Folks,

I just watched a video from a man I admire a lot: Anthony (Tony) Robbins.

Why I admire him a lot is because he went from Janitor to Peak Performance Advocate(also a multi-millionaire) in under 2.5 years!

Amazing!

In his latest video, he talks about one of the most important thing that makes or breaks a man to achieve success.

His video appears like a chance meeting with 2 Internet Marketing gurus: Frank Kern & John Reese.

It's kinda cute because it gives you this feeling like Tony will put aside some of his valuable time whilst filming for his own video seminar(s) to allow Frank and John to step in to make an impromptu recording.

Very clever!

Anyway, the video is definitely a good view as Tony does his usual power-up manner of talking (that seems to cower John and Frank to sit quietly on their comfortable couch) and discusses some pertinent points as to why some people don't seem to be able to achieve the same level of success as they could.

Or, that there are many would be Internet Marketers who seems to behave like they are trying to earn a good income from the internet rather than making it a must to earn their dream income.

Right after my mind had captured that key concept to success, I suddenly felt a 'rema' to the word: CERTAINTY or to its mutation; like certain, certainly, etc.

I had just took action to create a 'squeeze page' of sorts so that I can giveaway a free e-book and its corresponding audio.

I decided not to give any 'junk' e-book to people, but a book that I really treasure because it sort of made things happen until that fateful day where I achieved true awareness of myself.

The Heroes' Journey
"The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles is the book that I am talking about that was published almost 100 years ago and contains elements that is still applicable now in our current era.

The book mention about "....doing things in a certain way..." that gave me that 'rema'.

And I was just musing myself with the thoughts that I am a traveler on a journey to a certain destination.

Day 51: Life is ....

Folks,

Sometimes, I get this feeling that I'm going crazy or something and I feel like the whole WORLD is going against me!

Like when i want to find the time to do my work, there is always something in the way to prevent me from doing it like:

A sudden lack of energy,
A feeling of being "STUCK",
Family commitments,
An excuse,
Etc etc etc

A Sudden lack of Energy

This is also known as that lethargic feeling that everyone feels especially after a big meal and you suddenly feel like you want to put your head down and go to sleep.

I usually feel like this after lunch and dinner especially.

I'm following this terrific guy: Shawn Phillips who had just published a book some time ago that discusses about his philosophy of STRENGTH For LIFE.

I like his work so much that I am drawn to his postings every Monday as he mentions about what having muscles means to him.

I think that he is the first Bodybuilder that takes the view of going to the gym and eating right and having a balanced amount of rest would do to a person's well being.

And that if everyone were to follow his philosophy of building the right body(his way of course), he or she would be successful in everything.

Really?

Actually, I believe in him as the saying goes: "My body is my temple."

So, if you were to treat your body right, you would do everything right.

Or, I would prefer to say: "If you were to treat your SELF right, then everything would be right."

This goes back to the Secret of life and that is to always "think positive" or always have an "Attitude of Gratitude".

Nick Vijucic terms it: "Attitude is Altitude".

And he is one person who really advocates positive attitudes in everything that you do.

If you take a look at his 4 Minutes 33 Seconds video, it'll explain it all.

A feeling of being "STUCK"

I get this a lot of times especially when there is millions of things to do and I am not sure which one to do first.

Family Commitments

This comes when all of a sudden, your significant-other-half decides to do something "important" and you have to drop everything that is "important" to you because you don't want WW3 to happen.

Seriously, this is unavoidable especially when you have your baby daughter sick with the fever at 2:00am and you have to go to the 24 hrs clinic for her to have her medicine.

An Excuse

This folks is what I call the reason for my procrastination and I always tell myself that it is alright to go play, because "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".

Or that there is something fantastic on the TV that needs my attention because if not, I'd miss my opportunity to understand why King Tut was murdered and that he didn't die of natural reasons.

Etc Etc Etc

This actually falls under the heading of "An Excuse".

So, the topic here is "Life is ...." whatever you make of it.

I want this year to be my most successful one because I don't want to fall into another trap of saying to myself that I didn't achieve my goal(s) because of etc etc etc.

I believe that if a person didn't succeed is because he/she just put down too many excuses for his/her failure.

I believe that a successful man is successful because he wants to succeed and that he made a commitment to succeed no matter what.

That doing his BEST is not good enough as opposed to doing what he is supposed to be doing.

Folks, I am frustrated at having my life dictated by someone/something else so I am now making a decision to succeed at my goal(s) no matter what it takes.

Day 44: My Musings....

Folks,

I subscribe to a mailing list of a very interesting Singaporean counterpart of mine named Kenneth Koh and he is one of the many Singaporeans who is making a comfortable income from the internet.

One of his recent blog post is about a TOTALLY free domain hosting company: http://websitehostingdot.com/

He found out about it after one of his friends asked him to help solve a technical problem.

Interestingly, he says that even though you can get a free webhosting account on the internet, he suggests that you shouldn't because of the fact that it is free and that internet marketers would loose their edge if they were to go about their on-line business whilst on the “free-path” as opposed to the “pay-as-you-go” path.

Sometimes, I like to use the analogy of the "Journey" as in "Life is a Journey. Where are you going?” concept.

As he puts it:

“Most beginners are not committed. If you are a newbie and you say you are 100% committed, you are lying. I’m quite sure about that!

Want to know how most beginners become committed? They become committed when their pockets hurt!”

What Kenneth means to say is that you will succeed if you are committed to your success if there is pain!

Pain of the fact that you might be losing all that money that you have invested in; so you keep telling yourself that you better deliver or else….

Also, a mentor of mine Adam Khoo did warn us that a partner to your success is a REAL partner if he/she is willing to put a stake in your business ie willing to invest in an equal amount of time & money in the business. Otherwise, that partner is not committed.

There is this very famous radio channel called: WII.FM that many successful people love to listen to and that most of the time, they play this song titled:

What’s In It For Me?

So, when Kenneth was discussing this aspect of commitment, I suddenly became stunned!

Like there was a “Rema”(self realization/awareness) happening to me!

Am I committed to my success?

Am I on the right road or way towards my journey to success?

Am I trying to earn an income from the internet or that I must earn an income from Internet Marketing?

Of course the right answer is that: I MUST earn an income from INTERNET MARKETING.

Why? Do I have a choice?

This brings me to the point of pain and pleasure; and that people would do something because it offers them the pleasure of fulfillment or the pain of non-fulfillment.

Like if I don’t earn an income at the end of this month of August 2009, I will not have any money to buy the daily necessities for myself AND my family.

Or, if I earn an income at the end of this month of August 2009, I will have money to buy the daily necessities for myself AND my family and perhaps if I earn more, I can treat myself to something that shows my subconscious mind that it earned a reward for a job well done.

I prefer the later because of the “pleasure” aspect of it.

However, looking at my previous blog posts, it appears that I have commitment issues.

It appears that I am fervent with my commitment in the beginning stage, but as the ‘thing’ drags on, I start to ‘taper off’ and ‘plunge’.

There was once I advised a good friend of mine who also had a commitment problem that his problem is that his ‘project’ was taking too long and he perceives it to be such a drag.

So how do one overcome boredom at something that can sometimes be monotonous?

I’m not sure but I think that one has to be creative isn’t it?

When I think about BODYCOMBAT when I was teaching it couple of years ago, I felt pressured because of the environment that I was in.

However, I always tell myself that, beyond the Plantar Fasciitis and the complaints from the members and the non-encouragement from my peers and loved ones and leaders and the little income I get, (I always get a kick from some participants who gave me positive feedback during class) it is all a setup for me for success.

I loved the feeling of being on stage and leading people in a group exercise regime. Especially when I see members who are inspired when I teach.

Those were the days…..

But, if I were to reflect on what I am doing now, I feel that the pleasure is not necessarily in the now but delayed. So, I clearly have to look forward to lots of delayed gratification .

Isn’t it?

So, I am on a journey towards success and my road is Internet Marketing and my vehicle is GDI(Global Domains International) – Twitter System.

Of course that there are others like: 30DC(Thirty Days Challenge) and John Blaze’s – 7 Days to Cash(7D2C) but so far, the one that I know that earns me income and is relatively passive is the GDI one.

7D2C is an active form of income because I have to do research, and then write articles, and then sell it to “the highest bidder”.

Whereas for GDI-Twitter System, it is totally passive. Of course I could go in and go active if I want.

Unfortunately, GDI-Twitter doesn’t seem to churn out a lot of ‘customers’ for me. There are a lot of potentials because of Twitter but honestly, most of my GDI-Twitter success is because of my other lead generation tactics.

So, I am really looking for something that is totally PASSIVE if there is one.

And I did find one. More on that later.

30DC, is more of a training system for newbies rather than for the experienced. But, I would like to put myself as a newbie because:

1. My income is not USD5,000.00 or more and
2. I am still scouring about like an Opportunity Seeker.

30DC helps those who are 100% business minded and will stay at their ‘game’ no matter what.

This is excellent for people who can afford both the time and money because they have a good enough ‘buffer’ in their savings account or they are working full-time and still have some extra time to kill and want to take that opportunity to earn extra.

The best thing about 30DC is that it is totally FREE training that other programs may charge you 4 figures or even 5!

What if the potential has:

1. No time? and
2. No money?

Meaning that he/she has no extra time to put aside to build a solid Internet Marketing business and no money aside to buffer his/her monthly expenditure as he/she is building that Internet Marketing business?

Wow! That is a tough one!

I remember this saying that goes:

“If the why is strong enough, the how will take care of itself.”

That means that if the potential has no time and money but he/she has a strong enough why, the how to solve the time & money issue will take care of itself.

Like if the question is like:

“Why do IM when I don’t have the time and money to do it?”

And the Why is:

“Why do IM? It is because if I don’t do it, my baby daughter will not have any milk to drink or if she falls sick, I do not have any money to pay the medical bills and thus so she might DIE!”

So the “strong enough” why here is:

No $$$ -> cannot buy milk and/or cannot pay medical bills for baby -> DIE!

Thus the how here would be that I’ll have to find the time to learn and do IM and I’ll have to beg, borrow or steal money in order to help finance my desire to succeed!

Now the question is what now? Where do I go from here?

Simple. Just by applying the USF(Ultimate Success Formula) my first step is to set a GOAL which I have and then formulate a STRATEGY which I have and then take massive ACTION.

What is my (SMART) GOAL?

S - Specific
M - Motivating
A - Achievable
R - Realistic
T – Time

I want to earn RM2,000.00 by the end of August 2009 from my Internet Marketing(IM) business that help teach other people learn how to earn an income from IM.

What is my plan of ACTION?

I plan to only focus on 1 IM activity that appears to be legitimate and has a proven track record in helping the ‘principal’ or Guru earn an income.

And that would be to follow John Blaze’s – 7 Days to Cash

What would the OUTCOME be? SUCCESS? Or FAILURE LEARNING EXPERIENCE?.

That would be on the next blog of 31st August 2009.

Day 41: I'm behind with 30DC!

Folks,

My parents came to my house for a visit and even though it was only for the weekend(Friday-Sunday), it was enough to put me 5 days behind in my 30DC.

Now, this doesn't make sense of course because Friday to Sunday is only 3 days. So how did I miss 5 days worth of training and action steps?

That's why logic sometimes cannot explain reality sometimes because even though my parents came on Friday, I was busy on Thursday setting up the house so that it looks presentable.

And whilst Wednesday I was going thru the 30DC training, I was doing day 4's training. Which because of the time difference, I was doing it on Day 5 here in Malaysia.

So, I am actually 1 day ahead of the training release dates but because of the time difference, I can only do the training after the next day. So a delay ensues and it looks like I am very very late.

However, all is not lost as I have a firm belief that I can catch up and be on time for 30DC.

Day 36: Am I still a Newbie?

Folks,

I've been doing Internet Marketing(IM) since December 2005 when I signed up for a weekend IM course runned by Mr Stuart Tan at AKLTG which was sort of an "underground event" because only the people associated with AKLTG who knew about it, signed up for it.

Then there was the Jumpstart-to-Internet-Profits which I took part as a coach/assistant to Stuart and then there was the multiple IM courses which I helped out and then there was a big IM event that was supposed to happed but was suddenly cancelled due to no-idea-why?

I speculate that the chief priciple trainer changed his mind not to associate himself with AKLTG thus pulled out at the last moment.

After that, I went on my own most of the time but did attend Stuart's InternetMarketingSingapore.com subscriber's night that usually happens once a month.

I thought that was a brilliant idea!

Then, I got married and decided to settle here in Seremban, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia and I have not stepped foot in AKLTG for a very long time.

I did attend Stuart and Kloudiia's wedding one night and then, no more face-to-face.

God! I really miss AKLTG.

Anyway, I digress.... my intention for this blog is to ask the question whether I am doing my IM business correctly or am I still thinking like a newbie?

Is it possible for a person like myself who has put a lot of time and passion into IM that even after 3 plus years, he is still struggling to earn his dream income because his methods is still like that of a newbie.

Even after countless webinars, books, audios, videos, etc. he is still like that of a newbie I-Marketer?

My answer to that question is: If a newbie is someone who has not achieved his target income even after "x" amount of years has gone by, then yes, I am a newbie.

If a newbie is someone who keeps on learning about the new secrets and/or tactics of making profits from the internet, then that too is a yes.

If a newbie is someone who has a personality that is always inquring and then changing his strategy because the environment has changed, then that too is a yes.

If a newbie is that of an Opportunity Seeker vs Business Owner, then that too I am.

Folks, the last point is not a very good point to be proud of because one should be a Business Owner or like what Rich Schefren would put it: A Founder.

I would like to earn my success from the internet and like top I-Marketer like Ewen Chia, who hacked at his computer for 6 years until he cracked the IM code, I am on the right path.

Of course, some folks may have heard of successful I-Marketers who did it in record time like 6 months, I take my hat off to them but I would like to stay honest at what I do and I prefer to tell the people the truth.

I do agree now that I behave like a negative newbie or Opportunity Seeker because I am doing what I have always been doing and that is jumping from one program to the next and "buying" into the next best thing that it highly recommended by the IM Gurus.

Folks, you must understand the USF(Ultimate Success Formula) and that if you feel that there is a better strategy that you can take action on that would lead you to your ultimate goal, you must know that a ship does not sail in a strait like and that the pilot of the boat have to trim the wheel constantly.

So, that is what I am doing so that I would achieve my ultimate goal in Financial Abundance in IM by taking up this once a year training called 30 Day Challenge(30DC).

It may look like it is for a newbie but I want to be humble and I want to say that I don't know what I don't know so I am taking on the 30DC.

At the same time, my GDI-Twitter programme is definitly running but I will tune it from time to time.

Most definitly because I have learnt something new along the way and the business needs tweaking.

Also, because of this desperation for cash, I am considering John Blaze, 7 Days to Cash system.

Folks, if you ask me which one you should do first, then let me say:

If you are an absolute newbie to IM, I strongly suggest 30DC.
If you have done IM for a while but am looking for something else for your portfolio, then choose GDI-Twitter.
If you are desperate for cash and needs guidance pronto, then choose John Blaze's 7 Days to Cash

Day 35: My 30 Day Challenge.

Folks,

I really really hope that I am not making a mistake here.....

I have just committed to do Ed Dale's 30 Day Challange (30DC).

I am now at Day 3 of his 30DC and I feel that I am learning a lot!

I know that some of you may be asking about what has happened to GDI and GDI-Twitter and Tissa G's ACME-People-Search-Engine etc etc.

It is still running but I feel that Ed Dale's 30DC is something that only comes aroung once every year and that I have missed it 3 or 4 times already.

So, I am not letting this opportunity pass over me again.

Anyways, the 30DC is a free thing and you get to learn what someone else may have to pay $1,997.00 or more to learn.

Also, I feel that it will compliment my current Internet Marketing(IM) business.

I feel that it is something worth lots to do that actually don't cost you a lot.

Day 31: USD5,000 this month!

Folks!

Yes! I've got RM15,000.00 injected into my accounts!

This is because I've successfully sold my school bus.

So, I've got something like USD4,262.00 as of today's exchange FOREX rates.

[Laughter]

I know that some of you are reading this and may me incredulous, right?

I think some of you may have thought after reading the headlines that I've cracked the IM code and now earning USD5,000/mth, isn't it?

No. I've only earned it because of an off-line event that happened in my life.

Folks, you must know that money comes from all forms of channels.

I learn something about "rezki" and that I should look for it in permissible forms as much as humanly possible.

And that I should believe that "reski" comes from God and He will channel it in any forms from anywhere at anytime.

This is going to be a short blog for today and tomorrow, I'll be blogging about what my next step in my Internet Marketing(IM) career is going to be like.

Day 26: Need to stay focused!

Folks,

I believe that everyone would face this “beast” many times in their lifetime!

This “beast” is one of the many reasons why so many newbie to Internet Marketing struggle to achieve their goal(s).

When they cannot achieve their goal(s), it is because of one of three things and that is:

1. They succumb to the “beast” and go off the ‘right’ path to follow another (wrong) path, did not , realized their mistake and they eventually reach the ‘point-of-no-return’, or

2. They succumb to the “beast” and go off the ‘right’ path to follow another (wrong) path, realized their mistake but does not return to the ‘right’ path; because of reasons such as fear and/or shame and they eventually reach the ‘point-of-no-return’.

3. They succumb to the “beast” and go off the ‘right’ path to follow another (wrong) path but realized their mistake and quickly return to the ‘right’ path; unfortunately, a certain amount of time has passed, or

Those who achieve their goal(s) is due to the fact that they did not succumb to the “beast”.

Such Internet Marketer has developed well trained “capabilities” to defeat or avoid the “beast”.

One’s “capabilities” can exist because of getting an excellent guide or the I-Marketer has developed it through Trial and Error or through constant mistakes and learning from them.

As the “beast” has the capability to transform itself to many forms, the successful Internet Marketer also has the ability to fend off its attacks with many disciplines.

One key capability of the successful Internet Marketer is the ability to stay FOCUSED on what tasks are the most important to undertake at the right time.

Internet Marketing is just like any REAL business (whether it is on-line or off).

Successful businesses become successful because of serious businessmen.

If one where to treat it otherwise, then the income will turn out to be a joke.

So, what is this “beast” that I am talking about?

The Beast is DISTRACTIONS.

This is one MONSTER that can be hard for me to put down as I always get myself caught in its grasp and it wouldn’t easily let me go.

However, I have learnt a lot since the beginning of 2006 on how to stay focused in my Internet Marketing / Internet Based Business so as to make it a success and that is to stay disciplined and focus my thoughts as if it is a laser beam that can cut through any obstacles.

This period of time is the most successful for me as I have taken the right steps and that is to engage a trustworthy guide: Mr Cruz Ramirez who have an excellent map to show me the most shortest way to the top of mount GDI.

So successful that on day 26 of my 30 day challenge, I’ve got one more signup to my GDI business.

Day 18: Learn Faster!!!

Folks,

One of things about Internet Marketing(IM), or the term that I personally love to use: Internet Based Business(IBB), that can drive a ‘newbie’ nuts is that there is a lot of materials to read.

It is just like back in the school days, especially my Secondary School(High School) days, when I had 8 subjects to learn every week.

I bet that you’d like to know what my 8 subjects are, eh?

English as 1^st language
Malay as 2^nd language
Mathematics (A Syllabus)
Mathematics (D Syllabus)
Literature
Biology
Science (Physics + Chemistry)
Islamic Religious Knowledge

Not to mention that we had to do ECA(Extra Curricular Activities) which usually needs the student to do 1 Club + 1 Sport or just 1 Uniformed Group like Boys Brigade or Boy’s Scouts etc.

Imagine that you had to finish reading 8 textbooks every week and you also had to go thru exercise classes to get your body fit!

I think that’s why there were some people who still get recurring nightmares about their secondary school’s leaving examinations even until today. (Yours truly, included)

Why do we have to go thru this? I feel that life’s education system is so unfair! And to top it off, some of the things that you learn you don’t use it when you are an adult!

Anyway, I digress.

I’m feeling the pressure of my childhood schooldays nowadays.

I’ve got so much things to learn about my IM/IBB plus I have to put it into action that if I were to write down all the things that I have to do, I believe that it will look like this:

And his reports is incredibly insightful and earth shaking because many who reads it behaves differently after reading them.

Plus, Rich has a philosophy of giving away your best products for free and make money anyway from something else.

Today is Day 18 and I think that by this stage, I should have accumulated close to half or if not more of my targeted $1000.00 isn’t it?

So far, I’ve got something like USD170.00 from TGAPS(Tissa Godavitarne ACME People Search) System.

And I’ve spent USD(29.95+10.00+10.00+10.00) = USD59.95

Now, if I hit USD200.00 from GTAPS, then I’d get my money transferred to PayPal. (That means that I get paid.)

I’m short of USD30.00 for TGAPS

From GDI, I’m going to get USD2.00/mth because of the 2 signups that I have.

So, if things don’t change as it is, I’d be looking at –USD57.95 in my PayPal account.

If I get 2 more signups for GTAPS/TGAPS before the end of this month, I’d get USD202.00.

So, my plan now is to get 2 more signups for GTAPS/TGAPS before the end of this month, so that I’d get USD202.00.

Plus, I’ve read Joseph Then’s report about “How to Make $100 in One Week”, and I’m already doing the first steps of the method discussed by him and I am sure I’ll be getting that $100 within 7 days.

Day 14: One more signup! Thank You!

Folks,

I remembered when I was working at my last employment, I had to do sales next to this group of guys selling a kitchen appliance; and everytime they close a sale, they would all together shout out:

"Thank You!"

And this would sometime go quite regularly when sales were very brisk for them!

And this vocal response to every sale they did was very empowering because of the verbal que and the response-in-gratitude phenomena.

So, today i would like to start something similar albeit in a visual text form where if I were to get a new sign-up, I would blog about it here and "shout-out"

Day 10: What spurred me to do this?

Folks,

One of the events that happened that made me set my mind up to do Global Domains International(GDI) as my current focus for succeeding in my Internet Based Business is right after I read Ewen Chia's report: "How to Make Your First $1,000 Online In Just 30 Days!"

Just reading the title of the e-book made my eyes grow wide with the realization that succeeding in any business is about setting a target income and than work towards it.

I realized that if I were to aim for RM1,000.00 per month, that would definitely work for me because currently, I am earning less than that.

And if I can do something on the Internet that can earn me a steady income of RM1,000.00 per month, praise God!

I could probably quit my 80 hours a week job and stay at home to work less hours but still earn the same amount of money.

Plus, the equivalent of RM1,000.00 is roughly USD$300.00 at current exchange rate of USD$1.00 = RM3.50. Actually, if I earn USD$300.00 per month, I'd be getting RM1,050.00 per month!

So I went about assessing what are the available methods that I can get involved in to earn me USD$300.00 per month and I am talking PER MONTH here.

Not a method that gives me a one off income and then I have to work hard at doing it again for another potential customer.

Wouldn't it be great that you can introduce to a potential customer once and than after that potential decides to become your customer, he/she "buys" your product but keeps "paying" you every month as long as he/she wants to keep "using" your service?

And if you can get several tens or even hundreds of such customers, your earnings would increase multiple times.

Now, at the time of reading Ewen Chia's e-book, I was doing Work For 3 Dollars(W4$3), but I feel that I'd have difficulty hitting my target of USD$300.00 per month because I'd have to signup 600 new people per month!

Why 600?

That's because each new person that I introduce to W4$3 would earn me USD$0.50.

To me, 600 new people per month is difficult!

So I went about looking for something else that can earn me a steady flow of income even though the potential only signup once but keeps being a member of that website's service or product.

Also, that website's service or product should not be too expensive to maintain.

One website that I could think of now is Global Domains International(GDI), because each signups will let me earn USD$1.00 per month.

And being a member or GDI is not too expensive: USD$10.00 per month.

Tell me of a business that costs you USD$10.00 per month but has the potential of earning you whatever amount your heart desire.

And you don't have to stock up on potions or lotions that you don't use at all.

GDI is all about the internet and internet websites and anyone who accesses the internet and wants to setup websites for any reason, should look at GDI.

GDI is not only a website solution provider but also an internet based business solution provider.

One thing wonderful about GDI is that it is an Multi Level Referral based system.

That means that I can leverage on my signups to get more signups!

And every signups that they get earns me USD$1.00 per month!

So, my plan is to get my first 10 members so that I can get USD$10.00 per month which would help pay for my membership.

In other words, once 10 members is achieved, my GDI membership is free!

Imagine that my 10 members does the same thing. That means that each of my first 10 members gets 10 members. How much do I earn per month?

USD$110.00 per month.

That's because there is 100 members in that level.

Now, what if that 100 members does exactly the same thing I did and does 10 signups each. How much do I earn per month?

USD$1110.00 per month and that is equivalent to RM3,885.00 per month!

I believe that if that happens, I'd stop working and stay at home and be my own boss!

Folks,

There are many people in the Internet Marketing(IM) World who calls themselves Gurus and promise to teach interested members how to make money on the internet by following their methodologies.

Then, there are those who don't call themselves gurus but still do the same thing.

Then, there are those who are anti-gurus and they seem to act like experts in the IM World and do the same thing.

Ande, all of the above mention gurus/non-gurus/experts in IM World would do the same thing and that they will sell you something like an e-book or membership for some form of training and they'd teach you to sell to your friends/relative/colleagues the same things that they have sold you for a commission.

And then, some people wonder how do these people make money?

Then, there is Tissa Godavitarne who I feel is the real deal because he want's you to succeed not by buying anything from him but by setting your own Affiliate Marketing System which he is going to share with you how he does it and it is up to you to follow.

members should or should not do on Twitter whilst using TweetLater.com.

How To Promote TweetLater
With TweetCockpit, I hear everything that's being said on Twitter about
TweetLater. I frequently see your tweets come by that contain your
affiliate link. :-) Some folks even retweet them for you. Gives me a good
chuckle. LOL

That's a good way to promote TweetLater, but it's not the method that's
going to get you the most conversions and earn you the most money.
The three primary keywords you must remember when it comes to conversions
are: Authenticity, Trust, and Personal Experience.

Think of most TV ads. They show (supposedly) real people telling you how
they used and benefited from the product. That's no accident. It's
because that method works.

Tweeting your affiliate link may drive visitors to the TweetLater site
via your link, but you can expect to have a rather poor conversion rate
(signups and upgrades versus number of visitors).

The best way to promote TweetLater is to follow the simple process I've
outlined below:

1) Use TweetLater and TweetLater Professional yourself. If you can't
afford to upgrade, at the very least do the free 7-day trial.

2) Make notes of what you like about both Free and Professional as you
use it. If you can keep stats of how much time it saves you, or other
ways it benefits you, even the better. Take screenshots that you can
illustrate if you know how to do graphics, or capture a video if you can
do that. Folks love videos.

3) Then write a blog post where you tell your visitor how YOU have used
TweetLater, and how YOU have benefited from it. If you don't already have
a blog, then write a Squidoo lens, or a Hubpages page, or create a
Tumblr.com blog, a Blogger blog, or a WordPress.com blog.

Doesn't matter, just get it up somewhere. It's not important if your page doesn't rank in
Google. You just want a landing page that contains your first-hand (and
listen) authentic personal experience with TweetLater. On this page,
include your affiliate link in several places (make it easy for the
visitor to find and click on your affiliate link).

4) Now write your tweets and send your DMs, but don't put your affiliate
link in them, put a link to your landing page in them. And tell the folks
why they should go to that page and read what you have written. Something
like, "How TweetLater saves me 2 hours every single day: [link]", or
"Here's my first-hand experience with TweetLater: [link]". Now it becomes
much easier for you to invite folks, because you're not just sending them
off to a distant site, you are in a sense inviting them in for a cup of
tea (your landing page) and telling them your own personal story. It
smells much less like sales, and your visitors will have lowered their
guard, which we all put up when we smell a sales pitch.

Why will this increase your conversions?

It tells a personal story. Your story. (Remember the TV ads?) On the
TweetLater pages, I can only tell folks how they CAN use TweetLater. On
your landing page, you can tell folks how you HAVE used and ARE using
TweetLater, and how it helps and benefits you every single day. People
will far easier identify with your story.

When people come to TweetLater via your landing page, with your story
fresh in their minds, it will be much easier for them to visualize how
TweetLater will benefit them. And that's the process that you really want
to trigger, namely their own visualization and imagination. Accomplish
that, and you have an almost guaranteed upgrade.

With this two-step process (point people to your landing page, and from
there to TweetLater), you may send fewer folks on to TweetLater (some
won't make it past your landing page), but that does not matter. The
number of visitors is not as important as how ready the visitors are to
buy when they get to TweetLater. It's better to send 20 people, of whom
50% (10) upgrade, than to send 200 people of whom 2% (4) upgrade.

Joe or Mary who has one Twitter account and just chats with a handful of
followers is probably not going to need TweetLater Professional.

To get the best bang for your promotional efforts, focus on the following
people:

- Internet marketers
- Marketing professionals in general
- Businesses
- Bloggers who want to spread the content of their blogs with Blog Feed accounts
- People with multiple Twitter accounts
- Heavy users of Twitter, even if they have only one account
- Anyone else who can save time and become more productive with our tools

I'm going to do what the maker of TweetLater.com is suggesting and create
a special blog just like what he says above.

This blog is supposed to be Day 5's but as you and I may have noticed, I
am a day late because I usually type my blogs late at night and usually after 12 midnight.

I really want to do more of my work early in the morning but so far, I have not been able to do so because of family reasons.

This situation is like no different if I am away at my last job(roughly 10am to
10pm) and then do my internet marketing(IM) work after that(usually 12am
to 3am).

But, this has got to change as I REALLY WANT to make this work.

I can list a lot of reasons why working from home or working for yourself
is the best way to make a living.

Day 2: How?

Folks,

Last night, I was typing away at my 2nd entry into my blog and all of a sudden, all of that 1 hours work suddenly went away.

I sat in front of my laptop, stunned!

I was so sleepy and so tired yesterday night/early morning because of my efforts to make my on-line business successful, plus I had to put time aside to do the off-line stuff so that my finances/expenses is well covered.

Folks, I am not typing this blog to condemn anyone nor any company as what I've written is very general. I did not mention at all what my last company's name was!

Most people that I know of who wants to succeed in their life is because of the frustrations that they went through and one of them is sometimes because of their not so good working experience.

They decide to work in a new environment that is better than the last. Or at least work in a situation that gives them the comfort that they seek.

Folks, aren't I right to say that we only keep doing what we do because it is providing us the comfort that we seek? Whether it is sooner or later, isn't it?

If a farmer decides to plant a crop that yields only after a year, should he be criticized?

I have said that I am going to be thankful for the state that I am in and that I am going to have this Attitude of Gratitude.

I am thankful that there exist a company that I have left that is providing a means of income for a handful of people.

I am thankful that there are people who takes the right way of earning their income.

I am thankful that I received training in selling a product that I feel is hard to sell but I see other people who are really excellent in it do it so simply and excel in it. And that I learn from them how they did it.

I am thankful for the comments that people have given me where I have vetted and decided to publish even though it may sound negative.

But I don't see it as a negative comment but a constructive one.

I am thankful for the anonymous comments that has been sent to me. I wonder why it is sent anonymously rather than with a name and contact info so that I can keep in touch with that person.

I believe that there are many people who don't believe in dreams and that dreamers are people who sit around doing nothing and hope that their dreams come true.

That is partly true.

One should not only dream or visualize the goal that they want to attain but also to take MASSIVE actions to make that dream a reality.

If someone thinks that I am just sitting around and doing nothing but just dreaming, that person should be the one to "Wake up!".

How people goes about their business is their their business and that is why there are people who grows things and that there are people who takes that which is grown, and make it better.

Should not that person who makes it better be rewarded justly?

Yes, rezki is in the "hands" of Allah and that we don't just sit around and pray and dhikr / say mantras and hope that big money comes to me without carrying out any active actions that can enable us to receive that rezki.

What have you done today to receive that is rightfully yours?

First $1,000.00 in 30 Days.

Folks,

After being inspired by reading Ewen Chia's "How to Make Your First $1,000 Online In Just 30 Days", I decided to write this article about how I made my first RM1,000.00 in just 30 days.

Why RM1,000 and not USD$1,000?

That is because I want to market this idea to Malaysians and that the thought of achieving RM1,000 online is, I believe, a GREAT achievement for any Malaysian Internet Marketer Newbie.

Plus, the equivalent to RM1,000.00 is roughly USD$300.00.

The numbers now appears achievable isn't it? Does your mind think that it is easier to achieve RM1,000.00? Or easier to achieve USD$300? Definitely the later, isn't it?

And once you achieve USD$300.00, you'd be earning RM1,000.00!

Of course, all big things begins with small incremental processes and if USD$1,000.00 is your target, then that's GREAT!

Just focus on your first USD$1.00 per month and then work your way up to USD$1,000.00 per month.

After that, any monetary target will get easier. It is just a matter of scalability.

For now, I'm just putting the steps more simple by focusing on RM1,000.00 or USD$300.00.

I believe that once the RM1,000.00 has been achieved, the USD$1,000.00 is just around the corner.

Not only that, I want to write what I did to earn RM1,000.00 per month in just 30 days.

It is not good to earn your first $1,000 online but after you have achieved that, you may or may not be able to repeat the process. Or that your earning abilities fluctuates.

It is okay to fluctuate higher ie earn more and more every 30 days but if you earn 4 figures this month, but 3 figures the next and 2 figures the next or even worse, nothing the next, that is not good.

I prefer to document how I did it doing one method that works for me and I want to share it with other people.

Isn't GDI perfect?

Since you are already on the Internet doing things like surfing for information, or sending and receiving emails, or online banking, or chatting with friends or relatives etc. isn't being involved in GDI makes sense?

The only reason that people are not yet involved with GDI is either because they have not heard about it or they don't have a computer to access the internet or they don't use the internet for anything.

Anyway, I was looking for a business opportunity that allows me to earn USD$300.00 per month and the only thing that I can think of at the time was GDI.

You only have to pay USD$10.00 per month (RM35.00 equivalent) and that gives you a website that you can choose any domain name as long as the post-fix is .ws.

In my case I chose aliefhamdani.ws.

After that, I can get an email address that looks like alief@aliefhamdani.ws.

You also get an online web-mail service so that you can read and/or create emails.

The next thing is to get signups for my business.

That is why I have found this method of getting GDI signups, FREE!

From this method, I can get minimum 1 signup a day.

So in 10 days, I got 10 signups that already made my GDI business pay for itself.

At this level, lets call this Level One.

Of course, in the next 10 days, my 10 signups will also do the same thing that I've done. So, I'd potentially have a total of 100 signups and have the potential to earn USD$110.00 per month.

At this level, lets call this Level Two.

Now, the amazing thing that if the 10 signups of Level Two does the same thing, then in Level Three, I'd potentially have 1000 signups and I'd potentially could earn USD$1,110.00 per month.

I'm not sure when I would achieve this target of having 1,110 members in my team but if my signups does exactly the same thing as I had, I believe that this is achievable in 1 to 3 months.

What if I have really lazy downlines and I still do all the work and still achieve 1 signup a day?

I guess that if I want to hit my target income of USD$300.00 a month, I'd have to wait for 300 days!

That's in 10 months time!

But, that is an incredible worst case scenario!

Best case is what I explained earlier or that I'd hit my target sooner.

Today could be the day of a fresh start for me of making my dreams come true.

I just met my employer and after a brief discussion, I've decided to part ways with him amicably.

No more working 12 hours a day everyday.
No more doing the kind of sales where even after 'closing', the sale can fall through! (ie: no commission)
No more demanding customers who keeps calling me every day and demand an explanation as to why their STREAMYX application has not arrived.
No more working with a company with an administration staff that is not doing their job properly nor being very helpful.
No more working with an employer who is more interested in money rather than the welfare of his staff.
No more working for other people.

I know that some of these points may "ruffle" someone's feathers but the truth has to be told.

I guess that things could have gotten more worse than this so I am all GRATITUDE where I am right now.

Where Am I Now?

Folks,

I heard a good story from a Motivational Trainer friend of mine who said that there was a time when he had to do training at an military base 1 hours drive away from his house.

He was given directions to that place that he was quite unfamiliar with but knows how to get there.

Directions was given to him via telephone the night before he has to be there.

Being an early riser, he woke up and started driving to that location 3 hours before he was due.

Unfortunately for him, he got lost and called back to the army base and asked for directions.

When he was asked where he was, he looked around at his surrounding but he replied that he
doesn't know where he is.

In reply, the army officer said, " If you don't know where you are, how am I supposed to help you?"

This is a good lesson that stuck to my friend, Joe, for many years to come.

It does relate to life and our life goals that in order to know where we need to go, we need to know exactly where we are.

Like my current situation where I am aiming to earn RM1,000.00 per month from my GDI business.

But... where am I exactly?

I've placed milestones on my quest to RM1,000.00 per month but my 1st milestone of 1 sign-up and thus USD1.00 income I still have not yet acheived.

This is frustrating because I am following my sponsor's instructions and methods but I am still without a referral.

I'm using Twitter to get sign-ups but to date, I am getting lots of Twitter followers and zero signups.

I think it has to do with my time management.

I know for a fact that I wish that I can get work done as soon as I get off from work but in reality, I only get free time once my wife and child is asleep and that is usually fast midnight.

Sometime, I get so tired that I can't concentrate on my work and I also fall asleep.

So, now that I know where I am, I may know how to overcome this:

Tell my wife that I need quality time to do my GDI business.
If I can't get this, I simply have to push myself harder and get things done after 12:00am.
I need to ask my sponsors for help.

I've found this countdown timer that I hope will help me focus.

It tells me how much time I have until the deadline: 31st August 2009.

At that date, I would have a system that allows me to earn RM1,000.00 per month.

What spurred me to do this?

One of the events that happened that made me set my mind up to do Global Domains International(GDI) as my current focus for succeeding in my Internet Based Business is right after I read Ewen Chia's "How to Make Your First $1,000 Online In Just 30 Days!"

Just reading the title of the e-book made my eyes grow wide with the realization that succeeding in any business is about setting a target income and than work towards it.

I realized that if I were to aim for RM1,000.00 per month, that would definitely work for me because currently, I am earning less than that.

And if I can do something on the Internet that can earn me a steady income of RM1,000.00 per month, praise God!

I could probably quit my 80 hours a week job and stay at home to work less hours but still earn the same amount of money.

Plus, the equivalent of RM1,000.00 is roughly USD$300.00 at current exchange rate of USD$1.00 = RM3.50. Actually, if I earn USD$300.00 per month, I'd be getting RM1,050.00 per month!

So I went about assessing what are the available methods that I can get involved in to earn me USD$300.00 per month and I am talking PER MONTH here.

Not a method that gives me a one off income and then I have to work hard at doing it again for another potential customer.

Wouldn't it be great that you can introduce to a potential customer once and than after that potential decides to become your customer, he/she "buys" your product but keeps "paying" you every month as long as he/she wants to keep "using" your service?

And if you can get several tens or even hundreds of such customers, your earnings would increase multiple times.

Now, at the time of reading Ewen Chia's e-book, I was doing Work For 3 Dollars(W4$3), but I feel that I'd have difficulty hitting my target of USD$300.00 per month because I'd have to signup 600 new people per month!

Why 600?

That's because each new person that I introduce to W4$3 would earn me USD$0.50.

To me, 600 new people per month is difficult!

So I went about looking for something else that can earn me a steady flow of income even though the potential only signup once but keeps being a member of that website's service or product.

Also, that website's service or product should not be too expensive to maintain.

One website that I could think of now is Global Domains International(GDI), because each signups will let me earn USD$1.00 per month.

And being a member or GDI is not too expensive: USD$10.00 per month.

Tell me of a business that costs you USD$10.00 per month but has the potential of earning you whatever amount your heart desire.

And you don't have to stock up on potions or lotions that you don't use at all.

GDI is all about the internet and internet websites and anyone who accesses the internet and wants to setup websites for any reason, should look at GDI.

GDI is not only a website solution provider but also an internet based business solution provider.

One thing wonderful about GDI is that it is an Multi Level Referral based system.

That means that I can leverage on my signups to get more signups!

And every signups that they get earns me USD$1.00 per month!

So, my plan is to get my first 10 members so that I can get USD$10.00 per month which would help pay for my membership.

In other words, once 10 members is achieved, my GDI membership is free!

Imagine that my 10 members does the same thing. That means that each of my first 10 members gets 10 members. How much do I earn per month?

USD$110.00 per month.

That's because there is 100 members in that level.

Now, what if that 100 members does exactly the same thing I did and does 10 signups each. How much do I earn per month?

USD$1110.00 per month and that is equivalent to RM3,885.00 per month!

I believe that if that happens, I'd stop working and stay at home and be my own boss!

How am I going to get sign-ups?

I think one of the most important question which I am also facing is this:

How am I going to get sign-ups for my new Internet Marketing Business ?

I'm having trouble with the first step in putting up Yahoo! Advertisements for my business as I am short of USD$30.00 for the down-payment.

No doubt that I do have USD$30+ in my PayPal account but I am hoping not to use it for anything else other than my first USD$10.00 payment to GDI.

Yes. Even when I am "promised" zero costs in doing business in GDI via the method shown in my website, I still have to pay USD$10.00 after the 7 days trial period is over.

Still, I am hoping that the signups is fast so that I can get 10 members and then I don't have to pay anything out of my pocket.

Yes, even though there is no cost involved in advertising but Yahoo! advertisement needs a minimum USD$30.00 down-payment even though we get free USD$100.00 for advertisement.

The steps in http://gdigoldrush.tk/ states that we can 'try' to ask a USD$30.00 loan from our up-lines to help us out but it is in no obligation on their part that they do so.

My sponsors, Tina and Cruz's philosophy is via a FR.EE and effective way of using Twitter to get signups.

I believe that since there is a FR.EE and effective way of doing this, I think that is why Tina and Cruz don't want their downlines to spend any more money than is needed to run their business effectively.

So, later tonight, I will look closer at what they are asking me to do and see that I get signups later.

Perhaps, when I have enough money for the down-payment, then will I use Yahoo! Ads to find signups for my Internet Based Business.

I know that in July, I'd be getting something like SGD$200.00 from the Singapore Government because of the GST offset package.

Last night, I was following Tina and Cruz's steps until late (3:00am) but I had to leave it as I was very tired and had to go to work in the morning.

This reminds me of the story of Singapore's own Millionaire Internet Marketeer who in the beginning was working for a telecommunication company called M1 and he struggled for 6 years, sleeping late into the night (3:00am) every night until he cracked it and became a success.

How I invest my USD$10.00 / month to hit my USD$300.00 / month income?

Folks,

I am abandoning my Work For 3 Dollars temporarily so that I can focus on something that would work better because I need to hit a monthly target of USD$300 per month.

Why so little?

That is because I want to set that as my first milestone as with USD$300.00 per month, that is equivalent to RM1,000.00 and I believe that I can live on RM1,000.00 per month in Malaysia.

Then I have a choice to quit my current 80 hour work week, if I want to.

Of course I will not stop at USD$300.00 (or RM1,000.00) as I will aim for my next milestone that is my first 5 figures.

"A journey for a 1,000 miles begins with the first step."

So my journey to Financial Security/Stability/Abundance begins with earning my first USD$1.00 and to do that, I need to get one signup for my Global Domains International, Inc. (GDI) business.

Once I've done that, I've got my first 1(one) figure income a month from the Internet.

So my next target would be my first 2(two) figures and I hope to get 10 signups by end of June 2009.

As with 10 sign-ups, I would have nothing to pay for my GDI membership as 10 signups earns me USD$10.00 per month.

Then, I'll aim for my first 3(three) figure income and I hope to get 100 signups by end of July 2009.

Of course, I hope that the 10 members that I have signed up will do the same work as I have done for my business and that they sign-up 10 individuals themselves.

This would definitely help my business grow quickly.

GDI's Company Vision Statement states that "To achieve success, one must help as many people as possible to achieve their success". (or something like that).

So, I'm committed to help my downlines achieve success as by helping them I would also achieve success.

Yesterday, I signed-up for GDI via a husband and wife team: Tina and Cruz Ramirez.

They used a system that is almost 100 percent free and I like it because they have a system that is very promising.

They make use of Yahoo! Advertisement and Twitter and Google Adwords and such where they found almost FR.EE methods of advertising to get new members to sign-up for their GDI business.

Now, they extend their methodology to others who are interested in joining GDI under their sponsorship.

I joined under Tina and Cruz Ramirez because I have been involved with Cruz when I was with TeamGDIPro many years ago.

Cruz is such a great leader because he shares with us his way of signing up new members using free or almost free methods that are effective.

He is genuinely helpful and will go out of his way to help his downlines.

God, I am so sleepy now!

Today is Wednesday, 18th February 2009, 11:15 am.

And I am feeling very very sleepy!

I am not sure why I am feeling this way but if I recall, I did have a good night's rest last night. And I am sure that I have more than 5 hours of sleep.

Yet, now, I feel that my eye lids just want to come together and my head just want to rest itself on this table.

Strangely, when I decided to type this and stop doing what I am always doing every morning, I feel that I am not so sleepy anymore.

Maybe the reason could be that I am venting my frustrations.

Or maybe I am doing something that I enjoy, like playing my favorite XBOX computer games like Ninja Gaiden.

I remembered a time when even how tired my body may have felt, yet I could go on to teach 3 classes of BODYCOMBAT at California Fitness Gym, Singapore. And, strangely, I felt more stronger as the day's classes were progressing. I remembered that I could do the difficult push-ups and ab-crunches more easily as I was teaching the last class.

Talk about mind over matter.

I believe that if one were to do something with PASSION, all the tiredness or pain would simply melt away.

Or that the act of typing out words on this word processing application program forces the brain to feel wakeful. I think it is the same like making myself stand up and walk around the room.

It's because one thing is that I don't have internet connection at my own place and that now I am forced to go to a place like this to do my "work".

I am still struggling to find the perfect way to make money via the internet.

It feels that I am failing but what my Mentor Adam Khoo always keep telling me is that there is no failure, just a Learning Experience.

Even if one where to get an F grade in a test, it is not a failure but a Learning Experience that one must understand that in order not to get an F grade in the future, one must do the opposite of what one does when one gets an F.

Adam taught me the Ultimate Success Formula(USF):

I know that I am not getting any closer to my GOAL because my STRATEGY is just not quite right. And that I know that I need to CHANGE my STRATEGY.

But like what Bob Proctor said, "People know what they need to do, but they just refuse to do it. That is why they don't achieve success!"

I know that if I want to earn US$10,000.00/month in the year 2008, I must start to sell something, right?

But I did not do that properly and that is why I am still broke now.

I thought that if I were to go by the way of Stone Evan's "Plug-in Profits System(PIPS)", I would be seeing my US$10,000/month dream come true.

Boy! Was I wrong!

Talk about "Multiple Streams of Income"! What I got was Multiple Streams of Headaches!

Enough was enough.

I even went to focus on SFI (www.sfimg.com) and that I'll focus on it's spin-off (www.eyeearn.com). Again, it was the same thing:

I was spending more money than what I was earning!

I was tired of this Spend-More-Earn-Less(SMEL) Internet Business Model!

So.....

At the last quarter of 2008, I went and made a decision to setup a new business on the internet that I hope will work and that was when I joined the Work For 3 Dollars program(W4$3).

I was now looking for the Spend-Less-Earn-More(SLEM) Internet Business Model.

I am sort of successful with W4$3 in the sense that I've earned back my initial investment of US$3.00. Trouble was, the SLEM model needs a lot of effort.

Effort like looking for leads/prospects using FREE tools like free/credit based Safelists, Traffic Exchanges, Social Networking websites like Yuwie, My Space, Facebook, etc.

Did I say that I got back my initial investment of US$3.00? Trouble is, I've still yet to earn anything after that!

I thought that it was going to be very easy to market it and get thousands of referrals without much effort.

I was wrong!

So now I am in Year 2009 and I am coming closer to the 1st quarter period. What am I to do to earn an income?

If you guess: "Get out and get a job?" - You're RIGHT!

So, I'm now waiting for my Work VISA to work out so that I can work for this local Malaysian company: AUDECOM.

If I look at Adam's USF, what I have done for year 2008 was that I kept doing the same thing over and over again and I hope that I could achieve my goal. Even though I want on different Internet Marketing programs, I was still doing the same thing, that is: the stuff that I was doing was still Internet Marketing/Web Based Business.

So, now, I CHANGE my STRATEGY and that I am going out to work for someone and earn an income.

In my pursuit of HAPPINESS!

It is almost a year since I blogged about what I want and all that time since, I have not achieved what I really want.

So I ask myself one more time: "What do I really want?"

It is not MONEY.

Money in itself does nothing if the value of it falls beyond recognition or usefulness.

At the moment, Financial Indices all around the world is suffering great losses and their country's money value is being hit badly.

Take for instance the US dollar. It's value now is lower than before and smart people are looking at the Euros instead.

Now imagine that money looses its value and people do not want to use it as a means of exchange, what happens?

Like, imagine that there is a person who has accumulated an impossible amount of MONEY and then no one is willing to take his money because of some catastrophic reasons.

Could people revert back to barter trading?

If civilizations collapse, then money institutions will follow suit and mankind may revert back to the old ways of economics.

Imagine that someone manages to shut off the power switch to all electrical-computational devices and people have no way of accessing their money in their bank accounts and/or banks suddenly lost all their data....

This may not logically happen because every countries banks have solid infrastructure and back-up systems that such a calamity does not happen.

But what if an act of God happens and financial institutions just shut down.

This is what is currently happening and governments are rushing to fight the fire.

What if REALLY, MONEY dies?

There is a story of how the Prophet was given a whole wagon load of emeralds, rubies, gold pieces, precious stones, etc but he took it to the back of a hill in the desert, spoke a prayer and it all turned into dust.

Did this incident happened? I'm not sure but I read about it in the book called "Muhammad: The Messenger of Islam, His Life and Prophecy" by the late
Hajjah Amina Adil.

I also hear stories about the Prophet that he will feel uneasy at night, unable to sleep when he knows that there is some dirham or money in his house because it is his habit to give all of his money to the poor and/or needy and not keep a single dirham in his house.

Hearing stories such as these about the Prophet makes me think about the importance of money and how I should conduct myself concerning it.

I believe that MONEY is not the issue here but my feelings of happiness.

I am in the pursuit of HAPPINESS that MONEY is just a tool or medium for me to get it.

Still, if I am not careful, I may stray from my PATH and forget that it is God that provides rez'k and not any one else.

Others are just channels.

My wife has a great explanation about being wealthy: "It is when one knows that he/she is not in the state of unhappiness. That one is living a life fulfilled. Even though others may call him/her poor."

I'm beginning to think that it is just a feeling. A state of mind.

From Rhoda Byrne's movie: "The Secret", I am told about the attitude of "feel good" and "a deep sense of gratitude".

I believe that this is key and that having a deep sense of gratitude about a lot of things because of the Creator should bring the believer ever closer to his/her goals.

Is this what I am in pursuit of now? Is monetary wealth important to me or is there something else?

Is it: "To feel God's pleasure in me?"

Will in my pursuit of happiness, I'll achieve God's "re'da" in me?

Will then I achieve wealth unimaginable because I observe that God's "face" is in view of me? That He is happy with me and that He is showering me with blessings.

Will then the thought of MONEY not important to me that I could leave it turning into dust and I am not fearful of it?

MONEY is important to me BUT not as important as to God's will onto me. And in order that I know what is God's will in me, I must have the knowledge of WHAT IS IT that God is willing me to do?

Well then now...... may my constant feeling of GRATITUDE never fails!

Dear Readers,

Today, I had a thought about my own life and how I want to live it in the near future.

MONEY

I want to have so much money that money is not an issue for me anymore.

Today I took a look at my bank account and it is in a very sorry state! It is in it's single digit and some cents now.

I'm guessing that my bank account is feeling like how I am feeling right now: "HUNGRY"

I am in the fasting month of Ramadhan and it is compulsory for adult muslims to fast. Fasting is to go with out food or water from the break of day to the dawn of night.

Not only is it just food and water, it is also about behaving more pious:

Watch what I say, and see, and do, and think!

I cannot have any forms of desire but the desire of obeying God's instructions.

By obeying His decrees and jurisprudence, I then lead a life or taqwa ie 'to be close to God'.

Ironically, I have not felt this hungry until today. And that I have not felt any tiredness like I've felt in past days. Perhaps this is the Compensatory System taking effect.

That if I don't feel hungry, I'll feel tired and that if I feel tired, I won't feel hungry.

I wonder if this will take over from today onwards because 1/3rd of Ramadhan is over.

Ironically too is that the pious muslim will not feel any hunger nor thirst but spiritual fullness in this Holy month.

I think I'll better meditate and reflect about this: Have I been a good Muslim?

"Money is the root of all evils!"

So says the ignorant, or should I say the poor.

Poor in mind, and soul.

To me, money is not the root of all evils but being poor is.

I believe that the term wealth or being wealthy has it's meaning warped.

It is not money that I want but it is what money can do for me.

I cannot eat money and stave off my hunger but I can buy things that I can then eat and make myself full.

Money can also give dreams and hopes come true for the poor and destitute.

TIME

I want to have so much time that I can just feel less anxious that I am running out of time to do things that is useful. Like:

Go on a vacation to learn about other people's culture.
Go on a pilgrimage to Mecca and complete my 5th religious obligation.
Choose to do what ever that I want because time is at hand.

TIME & MONEY

I believe that this is the quintessential need for any man, and woman, and child of this century that once they have enough or abundance of this, they are "free".

Of course, there is another thing that is very important: mindset.

[Mindset = Akhlak?]

What is good if a person has abundant time & money but don't know how to value it and then squander it away.

Easy come, easy go.

Just like the "heroes" of our generation who was once a 'zero' and then became a 'hero' and then back to 'zero' again.

They are the Mike Tyson.

What should my Blog site be about?

Dear Readers,

I'm on this crossroad sort of thing and am now stuck about what my blog site should be about?

Should I be specific and just blog about my main focus right now?

Or shall I just blog whatever just comes into my mind?

Hmmm......

I am not a new blogger as I had a few 'publications' from Multiply, Friendster, another Blog-site, etc.

I have just recently decided to start a new one specifically aliefhamdani.blogspot.com because I was thinking about starting a journal-like blog that will record my daily activities whilst I move ever closer to my goal.

Hmmm......

Making money from the internet is what is on my mind nowadays.

I believe that a lot of people who reads blogs of this type DOES think about money everyday isn't it?

And that we just want to find that "MAGIC BULLET" that will enable us to get our millions quickly and effectively.

Is there such a "MAGIC BULLET"?

Maybe.... it depends.

I heard from T. Harv Eker who wrote the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind said in his audio recording:

"Rich people: When they find an opportunity will 'Ready + Shoot + Aim'. Whereas poor people will often 'Ready + Aim + Shoot'."

Interesting philosophy especially when one would think that a bullet is a piece of lead that will only move in a particular direction and is near impossible to GUIDE it once it leaves the gun.

Unless of course that one is using a complex missile system like the TOMAHAWK then it would me 'Read + Shoot + Aim'!

My reasonable mind tells me that what poor people usually gets us a bullet. Perhaps a bullet is too expensive for them so they have only a rock to hit their target.

Hmmm......

Of course, I am now suddenly inspired to post something like why rich people are more effective as compared to poor people.

My First Posting

My first posting in word form.

Earlier it was a picture and I thought that since it is going to be my Blog, why not put my face so that people can see who Alief Hamdani is.

Actually, I placed my picture on the Posting is because I wanted to use it for my own profile.

Didn't work. How typical.....

So I was resorted to spend a good amount of time to figure out how Blogger helps people who are not so tech savvy or should I say Blogger savvy to get their own personal picture up onto their Profile.

Very frustrating.

The fact is that I am not an inexperience blogger and that I have been on the Internet for decades.

Before using Blogger, I was using Multiply and before that, Friendster and I would say that they are easier to use than Blogger.

BUT.... I decided to use Blogger because of the potential of me earning some kind of income from it.

I'm not sure if that qualify as a good reason to use Blogger or not.

I was contemplating using Wordpress because I bought this product Wordpress Adsense System 1.2 from Gobala Krishnan and it sort of guarantees an income if I were to follow it 'religiously'.

Hmmmmm......

So now my personal 'battle' is Blogger vs Wordpress.

Anyways, this is my second posting and that I am doing this just to get a hang of it.

Some of you may ask then why a new Blog?

Because this Blog is supposed to be a little more well planned and more serious and MORE focused on what I am about to embark till the end of this year.

It is going to be content rich and serious and like most things that I have planned to do, skewed sometimes to areas that may not be relevant.

That's me anyway....

My third posting may be the really SERIOUS one.
